is a Gram-negative oncobacterium that is associated with colorectal cancer. The molecular mechanisms utilized by to promote colorectal tumor development have largely focused on adhesin-mediated binding to the tumor tissue and on the pro-inflammatory capacity of . However, the exact manner in which promotes inflammation in the tumor microenvironment and subsequent tumor promotion remains underexplored.

Background: A growing number of centers offer hepatic artery infusion pump (HAIP) chemotherapy for advanced liver malignancies. While small series have demonstrated feasibility of robotic HAIP placement, comparison of outcomes with open placement is lacking. We compared outcomes after robotic versus open HAIP placement.

Introduction: Little is known about the association between age and fecal ostomy surgery trends over time. We aim to 1) determine the rate of fecal ostomy operations over time and 2) compare rates of colostomy formation between patients older and younger than 65 y.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective multi-institutional cohort study of patients ≥18 y who underwent colorectal resection between 2003 and 2014 using the Nationwide Inpatient Sample database.

Introduction Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is a common intervention for large colorectal polyps, but its long-term success depends heavily on post-procedure surveillance to detect recurrence. Despite the critical importance of follow-up appointments, some patients fail to attend these crucial visits. This study aims to identify demographic, clinical, and socioeconomic factors that predict missed follow-up appointments after EMR.

Background: The colon and rectum are highly innervated, with neural components within the tumor microenvironment playing a significant role in colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. While perineural invasion (PNI) is associated with poor prognosis in CRC, the impact of nerve density and diameter on tumor behavior remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the prognostic value of nerve characteristics in CRC and to verify the impact of nerves on tumor growth.
