The bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) technique is a powerful tool for visualizing protein-protein interactions in vivo. It involves genetically fused nonfluorescent fragments of green fluorescent protein (GFP) or its variants to the target proteins of interest. When these proteins interact, the GFP fragments come together, resulting in the reconstitution of a functional fluorescent protein complex that can be observed using fluorescence microscopy.

Importance: With a strong association between hepatic adenomas and estrogen established, understanding the risks, evaluation, and perinatal management of hepatic adenomas is necessary for obstetric clinicians.
Objective: The aim of this study is to review the preconception counseling, perinatal management, and postpartum care of hepatic adenomas.
Evidence Acquisition: A literature review identified relevant research, review articles, textbook chapters, databases, and societal guidelines.

In this review article, we provide an overview of the definition and application of fractional flow reserve (FFR), instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR), coronary flow reserve (CFR), and index of microvascular resistance (IMR) in the diagnosis, prognosis, and management of coronary microvascular dysfunction. We discuss their respective limitations as it relates to microvascular dysfunction. In each section, we review the most recent evidence supporting their use in microvascular and epicardial coronary artery disease.

Rationale: There is limited guidance on the best ways to stop using nicotine-containing vapes (otherwise known as e-cigarettes) and ensure long-term abstinence, whilst minimising the risk of tobacco smoking and other unintended consequences. Treatments could include pharmacological interventions, behavioural interventions, or both.
Objectives: To conduct a living systematic review assessing the benefits and harms of interventions to help people stop vaping compared to each other or to placebo or no intervention.

Background: Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) has emerged as a promising tool in clinical practice due to its unbiased approach to pathogen detection. Its diagnostic performance in pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB), however, remains to be fully evaluated.
Objective: This study aims to systematically review and Meta-analyze the diagnostic accuracy of mNGS in patients with PTB.
