Purpose: To compare patient-reported outcomes measurements and subsequent surgical interventions in patients treated with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) using either quadriceps tendon autograft with a patellar bone block (bQT) or soft tissue only (sQT).
Methods: All ACLRs performed between January 2010 and March 2022 were prospectively followed for 24 months and retrospectively evaluated. All primary ACLRs with full 24 months of follow-up data, without any previous surgery or any additional ligamentous interventions, were matched for major ACL risk factors, including sex, age, Tegner activity level [TAL], pivoting sports, and concomitant injuries.

This study investigates the evolution of passing networks (PN) at both team and player levels in the FIFA World Cups (WC) from 2010 to 2022. Analyzing 256 matches (7328 player observations) using a multiple-camera tracking system across four WCs, we considered six playing positions: goalkeeper ( = 521), central defender ( = 1192), fullback ( = 1223), midfielder ( = 2039), winger ( = 1320), and central forward ( = 1033). We used 17 network metrics and considered contextual variables such as team formation, and team ranking.

Purpose: To compare the outcomes of hamstring tendon (HT) and quadriceps tendon (QT) autografts for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in patients aged 50 years or older in terms of patient-reported functional outcomes, graft failure rates, complications, return to sports activity, and sports preference.
Methods: Between 2010 and 2022, prospectively collected data were obtained from an institutional database. Patients aged 50 years or older who underwent primary arthroscopic ACL reconstruction with either HT or QT autograft and had a minimum 2-year follow-up were included.

Introduction: Major sporting tournaments may be associated with increased birth rates 9 months afterwards, possibly due to celebratory sex. The influence of major sporting tournaments on birth patterns remains to be fully explored.
Methods: Studies that examined the relationship between such events and altered birth metrics (number of births and/or birth sex ratio (male/total live births)) 9(±1) months later were sought in PubMed and Scopus and reported standard guidelines.
