Rationale: Spontaneous retroperitoneal hematoma (SRH) is a rare but potentially fatal condition, often associated with anticoagulation therapy. With the global prevalence of COVID-19 and the widespread use of anticoagulants in its management, there is an increasing need to recognize rare but serious complications like SRH. This case report aims to emphasize the importance of early recognition and intervention of SRH in patients with COVID-19 undergoing anticoagulation therapy, to improve patient outcomes and reduce mortality.

Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate renal artery embolization in patients with spontaneous renal artery bleeding based on detailed angiographic findings and a comprehensive analysis of its efficacy and clinical outcomes.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study evaluated the outcomes of renal artery embolization in 18 cases among 15 patients (11 men and 4 women; mean age: 57.9 years) treated for spontaneous renal bleeding at our institution between March 2017 and October 2023.

Lumbar hernia (LH) is a rare abdominal wall hernia that occurs within the anatomic boundaries of the 12th rib, iliac crest, external oblique muscles, erector spinae muscles, and vertebral column. Secondary LH after urological surgery is rare, and the limited evidence hinders consensus on optimal surgical treatment. Here, we present a case of laparoscopic intraperitoneal onlay mesh (IPOM) repair for a large, symptomatic secondary LH after retroperitoneoscopic nephrectomy (RN) with mid-term postoperative outcomes.

We report a case of spontaneous parasitic pedunculated subserosal myoma with pathological findings presenting with the absence of uterine smooth muscle cells in the stalk observed during robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy.
