This work relates to the measurement of calcium, potassium, manganese and sodium levels in adult-human teeth from female and male patients and normal subjects. Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique was used for the measurements. Pathological and non-pathological adult-human teeth samples were collected from one male human patient and one female human patient who attended the dental clinic. The standard addition method was used to determine concentrations. Experimental results are presented and discussed in this work.

HERS/ERM cells constitute the only dental epithelial population that can be isolated from adult human teeth. Although HERS/ERM cells are the most studied dental epithelial cell source, information on their differentiation is lacking: these cells have a long induction period and low mineralization without coculture with dental mesenchymal stem cells. To characterize and develop an effective method for differentiating dental epithelial cells, we observed the epithelial‒mesenchymal interaction effects of deciduous dental pulp stem cell (dDPSC)-derived conditioned media (CM) during HERS/ERM cell differentiation.

Background: The use of SHED might bring advantages for tissue engineering over the use of stem cells from adult human teeth as SHEDs were reported to have higher proliferation rate and increase cell population doublings as compared with stem cells from permanent teeth.
Objective: The study's objective was to assess the growth kinetics and tri-lineage differentiation capacity of stem cells derived from human exfoliated deciduous teeth.
Material And Method: After being propagated through multiple sequential subcultures, adherent fibroblastic cells in the pulp tissue culture from human exfoliation teeth were evaluated to assess their tripotent differentiation potential into bone, cartilage, and adipose cell lineages.

Tooth root development is a complex process essential for tooth function, yet the role of root dentin development in tooth morphogenesis is not fully understood. Optineurin (OPTN), linked to bone disorders like Paget's disease of bone (PDB), may affect tooth root development. In this study, we used single-cell sequencing of embryonic day 16.

Aim: Despite the high success rate of endodontic microsurgery (EMS), it is difficult to suggest EMS as a general treatment option considering the difficulty of the procedure. A surgical guide has been proposed to overcome this problem. This study aimed to evaluate the stability of the surgical guide of a new design concept, as well as the accuracy of root resection, and to introduce the manufacturing method of the newly designed surgical guide.
