Unlabelled: Whole-exome sequencing (WES) analysis of an expansive case florid cemento-osseus dysplasia were reported for the first time. Also, the new potential candidate genes were reported to expand our knowledge about their molecular pathogenesis.
Abstract: We report a case of expansive florid cemento-osseus dysplasia in a 32-year-old female patient who presented an expansive tumoral lesion in the anterior mandible.

The authors report an unusual case of monostotic fibrous dysplasia involving the middle turbinate. Only four cases of fibrous dysplasia (FD) involving the middle turbinate had previously been documented globally, all of which entailed severe presentation and were treated surgically. We report the first case of asymptomatic monostotic FD of the middle turbinate in the Middle East, followed over a span of 10 years.

Upper extremity entrapment neuropathies are common conditions in which peripheral nerves are prone to injury at specific anatomical locations, particularly superficial regions or within fibro-osseous tunnels, resulting in pain and potential disability. Although neuropathy is primarily diagnosed clinically by physical examination and electrophysiology, imaging evaluation with ultrasound and magnetic resonance neurography are valuable complementary non-invasive and accurate tools for evaluation and can help define the site and cause of nerve dysfunction which ultimately leads to precise and timely treatment. Ultrasound, which has higher spatial resolution, can quickly and comfortably characterize the peripheral nerves in real time and can evaluate for denervation related muscle atrophy.

Benign fibro-osseous lesions with cystic degenerations have been scarcely reported in craniofacial bones and its unusual characteristics pose a diagnostic challenge. Here, we report a case of craniofacial fibrous dysplasia presenting a large cystic degeneration. A 55-year-old woman had a history of pain, slight asymmetry on the zygomatic region and ocular pressure.

A total of 7% of all benign bone lesions are diagnosed as fibrous dysplasia (FD). The symptoms of FD of the jaw range from asymptomatic to dental anomalies, pain and facial asymmetry. Due to its resemblance to other fibro-osseous bone lesions, misdiagnosis often occurs and can lead to inadequate treatment.
