Background: The use of automated insulin delivery (AID) devices is now widespread in the management of type 1 diabetes (T1D), being used for younger and older children, adolescents and adults. The integration of insulin pumps with continuous glucose monitors (CGM) and smart management software in AID systems has significantly improved glycemic management compared to the separate application of each diabetes technology. The efficacy of AID systems has been demonstrated in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) but it is their application in real-world studies that fully demonstrates their impact for people with T1D.

PARP inhibitors (PARPi) have been shown to improve progression-free survival, particularly in homologous recombination deficient (HRD) ovarian cancers. Identifying patients eligible to PARPi is currently based on next-generation sequencing (NGS), but the persistence of genomic scars in tumors after restoration of HR or epigenetic changes can be a limitation. Functional assays could thus be used to improve this profiling and faithfully identify HRD tumors.

High-voltage (HV) cables are increasingly used in urban power grids, and their safe operation is critical to grid stability. Previous studies have analyzed various defects, including the open circuit in the sheath loop, the flooding in the cross-bonded link box, and the sheath grounding fault. However, there is a paucity of research on the defect of the reverse direction between the inner core and the outer shield of the coaxial cable.

Prion diseases, including Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), are deadly neurodegenerative disorders characterized by the buildup of abnormal prion proteins in the brain. This accumulation disrupts neuronal functions, leading to the rapid onset of psychiatric symptoms, ataxia, and cognitive decline. The urgency of timely diagnosis for effective treatment necessitates the identification of strongly correlated biomarkers in bodily fluids, which makes our research crucial.

Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is the most common childhood malignancy that remains a leading cause of death in childhood. It may be characterised by multiple known recurrent genetic aberrations that inform prognosis, the most common being hyperdiploidy and t(12;21) . We aimed to assess the applicability of a new imaging flow cytometry methodology that incorporates cell morphology, immunophenotype, and fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) to identify aneuploidy of chromosomes 4 and 21 and the translocation .
