Eclamptic seizures are a known complication of pregnancy; less well publicized is the patient with late postpartum eclampsia. Late postpartum eclamptic seizures are convulsions that occur more then 48 hours after delivery. Because 40% of patients who have late postpartum eclampsia do not experience preeclampsia, clinical awareness is essential for early treatment and care.

Objective: The study aimed to provide clinical evidence regarding the perinatal management of HbH disease by comparing and analyzing blood routine, anemia characteristics, and their influence on pregnancy outcomes in patients with common deletional and non-deletional HbH disease at various pregnancy stages.
Patients And Methods: From May 2017 to October 2023, a comparative analysis was conducted on pregnant women undergoing treatment at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University and the Second Nanning People's Hospital. The study included 42 cases of deletional HbB disease and 32 cases of non-deletional HbH disease.

This study aims to evaluate the relationship between mineral digestibility and fecal characteristics and compare digestibility in dry and late-lactating cows. A total of 107 multiparous Holstein and Simmental cows were included, with 66 cows in late lactation and 41 cows in the dry period. The apparent digestibility of key macro minerals, dry matter content in feces, dirtiness scores, fecal characteristics, and serum macro mineral levels were determined.

Importance: Upper gastrointestinal cancers such as gastric and esophageal cancers are rare malignancies with poor prognosis because it is usually diagnosed in latter stages. Presenting symptoms are frequently presumed pregnancy related rather than malignancy related. This review will raise awareness to consider these aggressive cancers in evaluating gastrointestinal complaints during pregnancy.
