Introduction: Access to essential medicines is limited in developing countries mainly due to inefficiencies in health supply chain management, such as the absence of standard monitoring frameworks and poorly designed Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS). Health supply chain managers need accurate and timely data for decision-making. However, routine health information systems suffer from poor data quality, reliance on paper-based reports, insufficient logistic formats, inadequate infrastructure, and limited human resources.

Purpose: The purpose of this quality improvement project was to determine whether hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) could be prevented by implementing an educational tool kit for patient care technicians (PCTs).
Participants And Setting: Data were collected from 24 PCTs and 43 patients in a 26-bed inpatient adult acute care unit at an academic medical center in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
Approach: Outcome data were collected over an 8-week period from September to November 2021.

To explore the practice and application of learning curve theory in improving prescription review skills in standardized training for pharmacists in medical institutions, and to provide reference for enhancing the effectiveness of standardized training for pharmacists in medical institutions. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the relevant data of 20 students who participated in our hospital's standardized pharmacist training in 2022 and 2023 during their prescription review practice learning process. The prescription review practice learning process is divided into 10 stages, with 100 prescriptions in each stage.

Background: Illness severity, comorbidity, fever, age and symptom duration influence antibiotic prescribing for respiratory tract infections (RTI). Non-medical determinants, such as patient expectations, also impact prescribing.
Aim: To quantify the effect of general practitioners' (GPs') perception of a patient request for antibiotics on antibiotic prescribing for RTI and investigate effect modification by medical determinants and country.
