Keloid tissue represents an abnormal proliferation of fibroblasts, typically resulting from skin injury. These lesions can lead to significant physiological dysfunction and aesthetic concerns, particularly when located on the face. Traditional treatments, such as intralesional injections, laser therapy, and surgical excision, have shown limited efficacy and are associated with high recurrence rates.

Background: Orthopaedic surgeons play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of professional athletes. Despite the privilege of treating elite athletes, there exists great financial exposure to individual physicians in the event of a malpractice lawsuit.
Hypothesis/purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate and model malpractice liability exposure of the sports medicine surgeon caring for athletes in the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), and National Hockey League (NHL) with respect to player position and additional supplemental malpractice insurance needs.
Currently, available technologies and procedures enable aesthetic dermatologists to provide their patients with beneficial treatment outcomes for a wide variety of skin conditions. These treatments range from laser resurfacing and radiofrequency procedures to chemical peels and microneedling. The concept of integrated skincare is based on the application of adjunct therapies before, during, or after cosmetic medical procedures to promote healing, minimize discomfort, shorten down-time, and enhance overall aesthetic outcomes.

Purpose And Background: To create awareness among dermatosurgeons about the versatility of keystone flaps in re-surfacing post-excisional small, medium and large skin defects.
Aims And Objectives: Single-staged tension-free re-surfacing of various sized skin defects using keystone flap and to have least donor site morbidity, primary healing and maximum functional outcome.
Material And Methods: This retrospective study was conducted, between October 2021 - January 2023 in Department of Plastic Surgery, PGIMS Rohtak, on 15 males and 1 female aged between 18 - 65 years.
