Objective: To develop a RP-HPLC method for simultaneous determination of three active compounds, dictamnine, obacunone and fraxinellone in root bark of Dictamnus dasycarpus and supply a reference for the establishment of the quality standard of D. dasycarpus.
Method: A Kromasil C18 column was used with methanol-water (60:40) as the mobile phase, at the flow rate of 1 mL x min(-1). 236 nm was selected as the detected wavelength.
Result: The determined three compounds were well separated with a linear range of 0.0021-0.1060, 0.0201-0.9200 and 0.0102-1.020 g x L(-1), respectively. The recoveries of them were 100.5%, 99.2% and 100.2%, respectively.
Conclusion: This method is simple, rapid and accurate, particularly suitable for the quality control of D. dasycarpus.

Objective: Early education and care (ECEC) is part of the everyday life of most children in developed economies presenting exceptional opportunity to support nutrition and ongoing food preferences. Yet, the degree to which such opportunity is captured in policy-driven assessment and quality ratings of ECEC services is unknown.
Design: Abductive thematic analysis was conducted, guided by key domains of knowledge in nutrition literature and examining identified themes within these domains.

In this study, the kidneys of ground squirrels (hibernated and nonhibernated), rabbits, and rats were examined macro and microanatomically. Kidney morphology was investigated by stereo microscopy, light microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. Triple and immunohistochemical staining were performed for light microscopic examinations.

The Nurse Practitioner Holistic Caring Instrument (NPHCI) is a 19-item, investigator-developed instrument designed to measure holistic caring in nurse practitioner (NP) practice. This paper evaluates multi-sample psychometric testing of the instrument, describing data from three samples, with analysis supporting the NPHCI as a valid and reliable instrument. Methods: The NPHCI has been administered in patient, NP program faculty, and NP convenience samples.

Background: Adolescents (10-19 years old) have poor outcomes across the prevention-to-treatment HIV care continuum, leading to significant mortality and morbidity. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of interventions that documented HIV outcomes among adolescents in HIV high-burden countries.
Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library for studies published between January 2015 and September 2024, assessing at least one HIV outcome along the prevention-to-care cascade, including PrEP uptake, HIV testing, awareness of HIV infections, ARV adherence, retention, and virological suppression.
