The synchronous occurrence of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (PNEN) and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) in one patient is extremely rare. Synchronous resection of both tumours is preferred over a two-stage procedure if possible. The robotic da Vinci Xi platform allows for multi-quadrant surgery with oncological outcomes comparable to those of laparoscopic or open surgery.

Introduction: The Retzius-sparing technique for prostate cancer has shown favorable continence recovery outcomes. Magnetic resonance imaging after Retzius-sparing showed that the bladder anterior wall is widely connected to the abdominal wall, which contributes to urinary continence. We aimed to evaluate whether the Peritoneal Fixation technique, which involves suturing the anterior bladder wall onto the abdominal wall above the pubic bone, contributes to the recovery of urinary continence.

Although intraoperative magnesium sulphate administration has various advantages, its influence on the occurrence of postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) remains unclear, particularly in patients undergoing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP). The steep Trendelenburg position and a high intra-abdominal pressure can render patients susceptible to AKI after surgery. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of intraoperative magnesium sulphate administration on postoperative AKI in patients who underwent RARP.
