Fortimicins (FTMs) are fortamine-containing aminoglycoside antibiotics (AGAs) produced by M. olivasterospora DSM 43868 with excellent bactericidal activities against a wide range of Enterobacteriaceae and synergistic activity against multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens. Fortimicin-A (FTM-A), the most active member of FTMs, has the lowest susceptibility to inactivation by the aminoglycoside modifying enzymes (AMEs).

Aim: We aimed to systematically assess whether the level of body roundness index (BRI) is associated with the risk of developing chronic kidney disease (CKD) in US adults.
Methods: The studied data was extracted from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) spanning from 1999 to 2018. A total of 29,062 participants aged ≥20 years with complete information about BRI and CKD were included in this study.

They are the most marginalized and neglected segment of society, with little access to health care, including modern contraception, and a lack of knowledge about health services, particularly in Ethiopia. Therefore, this study aimed to examine modern contraceptive utilization and associated factors among street women.

Deep dermal and full-thickness burns often result in scar sequelae such as contractures, hypertrophy, pain and itching following split-thickness skin grafting. Dermal substitutes are currently employed alongside split-thickness skin grafting to enhance clinical outcomes, though their indications remain a subject of ongoing debate. This systematic review aims to clarify the indications for the application of dermal substitutes in burn patients, in both acute and reconstructive settings.
