As advanced materials, chiral nanomaterials have recently gained vast attention due to their special geometry-based physical and chemical properties. The fast development of the related science and technology means that various devices involving polarization-based information encryption, photoelectronic and spintronic devices, 3D displays, biomedical sensors and measurement, photonic engineering, electronic engineering, solar devices, , been explored extensively. These fields are at their beginning, and much effort needs to be made, including improving the optical, electronic, and magnetic properties of advanced chiral nanomaterials, precisely designing materials, and developing more efficient construction methods.

Herein, we report the precise control of molecular to supramolecular chirality induction at the single-molecule level just upon subtle modification in an achiral 'nano-size' trizinc(II) porphyrin trimer. A slight variation in the projection of the substituent at the periphery of the central porphyrin unit in a porphyrin trimer (host) resulted in pronounced changes in the interchromophoric arrangement, leading to distinct 'open' and 'closed' conformations. While 'open' form generates 'monomeric' complex with low CD amplitude, 'closed' form produces exclusive 'polymer' with large, amplified CD signal with opposite sign due to stronger intermolecular excitonic coupling.

A 17-month-old child presented for an anesthesia consultation before planned plagiocephaly correction one week later. The medical history by the mother reported an episode of facial redness after administering atropine-based eye drops when the child was 9 months old. Based on this information, the anesthesiologist decided to postpone the surgery and conduct an allergy assessment.

Resonant interactions associated with the emergence of a bound state constitute one of the cornerstones of modern many-body physics. Here we present a Feshbach perspective on the origin of strong pairing in Fermi-Hubbard type models. We perform a theoretical analysis of interactions between spin-polaron charge carriers in doped Mott insulators, modeled by a near-resonant two-channel scattering problem, and report evidence for Feshbach-type interactions in the channel, consistent with the established phenomenology of cuprates.

Autonomous artificial intelligence (AI) for pediatric diabetic retinal disease (DRD) screening has demonstrated safety, effectiveness, and the potential to enhance health equity and clinician productivity. We examined the cost-effectiveness of an autonomous AI strategy versus a traditional eye care provider (ECP) strategy during the initial year of implementation from a health system perspective. The incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) was the main outcome measure.
