A 17-year-old girl presented with features of biliary obstruction. Magnetic resonance cholangi-pancreatography revealed typical linear signals in common bile duct, which appears like Ascaris lumbricoides. The diagnosis was confirmed by endoscopic removal of the worm.

Ejection fraction is commonly used to assess Duchenne muscular dystrophy-associated cardiomyopathy (DMDAC), but it may remain normal (wrongly) despite significant myocardial dysfunction in patients. Cerebrovascular diseases themselves are the second most common cause of cognitive impairment (dementia). In addition, cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) makes a significant contribution to the clinical picture of neurodegenerative diseases.
