Among direct recycling methods for spent lithium-ion batteries, solid-state regeneration is the route with minimal bottlenecks for industrial application and is highly compatible with the current industrial cathode materials production processes. However, surface structure degradation and interfacial impurities of spent cathodes significantly hinder Li replenishment during restoration. Herein, we propose a unique advanced oxidation strategy that leverages the inherent catalytic activity of spent layered cathode materials to address these challenges.

CT images of castings made of ductile iron were analyzed in the paper. On these images, objects can be identified that can be considered as graphite precipitates or indicate the presence of a defect in the casting. Research conducted in this area is described, based on experimental data that allows to determine whether the indicated components present in the casting are graphite precipitation.

Bionic evaporators inspired by natural plants like bamboo and mushrooms have emerged as efficient generators through water capillary evaporation. However, primitive natural evaporators cannot currently meet growing demand, and their performance limitations remain largely unexplored, presenting a substantial challenge. Through extensive experimentation and detailed simulation analysis, this study presents a precisely engineered H-type bamboo steam generator.

This article presents the synthesis, electrophysical, and catalytic properties of a LaMnO-LaFeO nanocomposite material. The nanocomposite was synthesized via the sol-gel (Pechini) method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed a polycrystalline, biphasic perovskite structure combining both hexagonal and cubic symmetry.

Fly ash (FA) is a consequence of burning coal and is widely used in construction because of its pozzolanic qualities, which increase the strength and longevity of materials. Graphene oxide (GO) is a functionalized version of graphene with low electrical conductivity, high mechanical strength, and a large surface area. By examining the behavior of fly ash and GO composites at high temperatures, new materials with improved mechanical and functional qualities that are appropriate for a range of industrial uses can be created.
