Recent advancements in pluripotent stem cell and synthetic tissue technology have brought significant breakthroughs in studying early embryonic development, particularly within the first trimester of development in humans. However, during fetal stage development, investigating further biological events represents a major challenge, partly due to the evolving complexity and continued interaction across multiple organ systems. To bridge this gap, we propose an "in toto" biological framework that leverages a triad of technologies: synthetic tissues, intravital microscopy, and computer vision to capture in vivo cellular morphodynamics, conceptualized as single-cell choreography.

The van der Waals thiophosphate GaPS presents additional opportunities for gallium-based semiconductors, but limited research on phonon interactions has hindered optimization on thermal properties. This research undertakes a comprehensive investigation into the anharmonic phonon scattering within GaPS. The findings reveal pronounced anharmonic scattering, with both cubic and quartic phonon scatterings significantly influencing phonon redshift and broadening.

Background: Little is known about the involvement of gut microbiota in the disease course of diverticulitis and the potential benefits of manipulating the gut milieu. We propose to conduct a randomised placebo-controlled feasibility trial of faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) given as capsules to patients with acute uncomplicated diverticulitis.
Objectives: The objective is primarily to investigate the feasibility of clinical safety, explore efficacy associated with FMT in this patient population, and examine changes in patient-reported quality of life and the composition and function of the gut microbiota.

Background: Research suggests that individuals' local social networks, norms of reciprocity and sense of belonging (their local social capital, henceforth LSC), can cushion the impact of adverse events on their mental health. However, to date, little research has explored the pathways through which LSC operates to buffer stressors, especially during major crises, e.g.

Objective: The aim of this study was to explore the clinical characteristics of patients infected with different Omicron subvariants presenting non-severe disease, evaluate the safety and efficacy of Azvudine for treatment of COVID-19, in order to broaden understanding of Omicron subvariant infections.
Method: A total of 244 individuals with Omicron subvariant (BA.2.
