The catalytic activity of zirconia supported lacunary undecatungstophosphate was evaluated for solvent free oxidation reactions. The catalyst was proved to be successful for clean and green oxidation reactions which can be useful in waste minimization. The superiority of the present catalyst lies, especially, in obtaining 98% conversion of styrene and >99.9% selectivity for benzaldehyde with H(2)O(2). With molecular oxygen the catalyst gives 50% conversion with 70% selectivity towards epoxide in 4 h only.

Objectives: The aim of this randomised controlled trial was to assess clinical, radiographic and patient reported outcomes of narrow versus standard diameter titanium zirconium (TiZr) implants supporting single crown restorations in posterior sites with limited bone width.
Materials And Methods: Participants requiring replacement of single missing posterior teeth with implant-supported crowns were randomly allocated into 2 treatment groups: narrow (3.3 mm) or standard (4.

Hydrogen spillover, particularly when involving "interparticle" hydrogen spillover, offers a unique opportunity to enhance catalytic efficiency by remote activation of surface acidity. Building on this concept, this study aims to investigate physically mixed alumina-supported platinum nanoparticles (Pt/AlO) and zirconia-supported tungsten oxide (WO/ZrO) in promoting the direct synthesis of cumene from benzene and propane at 300 °C. The reaction with Pt/AlO alone afforded propylene as the only product, indicating the successive reaction route of Pt-catalyzed dehydrogenation of propane, followed by acid-catalyzed alkylation.

Background: The mechanical properties of framework materials significantly influence stress distribution and the long-term success of implant-supported prostheses. Although titanium, cobalt-chromium, zirconia, and polyether ether ketone (PEEK) are widely used, their biomechanical performance under dynamic loading conditions remains insufficiently investigated. This study aimed to evaluate the biomechanical behavior of four framework materials with different Young's modulus using dynamic finite element stress analysis.

Background: Various surgical techniques have recently been developed for periodontal tissue regeneration, especially those do not involve any incisions in the interdental papillae at the regeneration site. These techniques have significant advantages for obtaining clinical attachment gain with least amount of gingival recession, however, may also have disadvantages such as limited field of surgical view, difficulty in debridement, and limited access only from the buccal side. This case report addresses a 2-year follow-up with a novel surgical approach to achieve periodontal regeneration that overcomes these limitations: the flexible tunnel technique (FTT).

Introduction: Implantology has become a primary solution for tooth loss due to excellent osseointegration and high long-term success rates. However, complications such as abutment screw loosening, especially in implant-supported single crowns, compromise prosthesis longevity. Anaerobic adhesives (AAs) have shown promise in mechanical fields for preventing screw loosening, but their effectiveness in dental implants, particularly zirconia, remains uncertain.
