Objective: To evaluate the association between endometrial injury, implantation and pregnancy rate.
Design: We performed a literature search using the keywords endometrial injury, local endometrial injury, endometrial biopsy, endometrial receptivity, implantation, in vitro fertilization, and implantation failure and conducted the search in Medline, EMBASE, and Cochrane Database of systematic reviews.
Setting: None.
Patient(s): None.
Intervention(s): None.
Main Outcome Measure(s): None.
Result(s): Clinical and basic science data regarding the association between endometrial injury and improved implantation rate are limited. However, current evidence suggests that endometrial injury before IVF among women with previous repeated IVF failure is associated with increased rates of implantation, clinical pregnancy, and live birth.
Conclusion(s): Endometrial injury may have a beneficial role in implantation and improve the pregnancy rate. However, there are still many unanswered question including patients selection, timing, technique and number of endometrial biopsies needed.

Endometrial injury caused by repeated uterine procedures, infections, inflammation, or uterine artery dysfunction can deplete endometrial stem/progenitor cells and impair regeneration, thereby diminishing endometrial receptivity and evidently lowering the live birth, clinical pregnancy, and embryo implantation rates. Currently, safe and effective clinical treatment methods or gene-targeted therapies are unavailable, especially for severe endometrial injury. Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells and their extracellular vesicles are characterized by their simple collection, rapid proliferation, low immunogenicity, and tumorigenicity, along with their involvement in regulating angiogenesis, immune response, cell apoptosis and proliferation, inflammatory response, and fibrosis, Therefore, these cells and vesicles hold broad potential for application in endometrial repair.

Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) poses a significant risk for maternal morbidity and mortality. There is a global rise in incidence of PAS in tandem with an increase in rates of cesarian section. Previous cesarian section and presence of placenta previa are two independent risk factors for development of PAS.

(1) Background: Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) can deliver more accurate dose distribution and reduce radiotherapy-induced toxicities for postoperative cervical and endometrial cancer. This study aims to retrospectively analyze the relationship between dosimetric parameters of organs at risk (OARs) and acute toxicities and provide suggestions for the dose constraints. (2) Methods: A total of 164 postoperative cervical and endometrial cancer patients were retrospectively analyzed, and the endpoints were grade ≥ 2 acute urinary toxicity (AUT) and acute lower gastrointestinal toxicity (ALGIT).

Regeneration of the injured endometrium, particularly the functional layer, is crucial for the prevention of uterine infertility. At present, clinical treatment using sodium hyaluronate hydrogel injection is limited by its relatively low fluidity, short-term retention, and insufficient bioactive ingredients, so it is necessary to develop an advanced healing-promoting hydrogel. The modulation of the microenvironment by presents a bioactive component that can facilitate the regeneration of the functional layer.

The endometrium, the inner lining of the uterus, assumes a crucial role in the female reproductive system. Disorders and injuries impacting the endometrium can lead to profound consequences, including infertility and compromised women's overall health. Recent advancements in stem cell research have opened new possibilities for the treatment and repair of endometrial issues.
