Aim: The aim of this study was to uncover what it is like to be a novice peer reviewer for journals that publish articles that can influence nursing education and/or practice.
Background: Comprehensive and effective approaches to reviewer development, based on reviewer experience, were not reported in the literature.
Method: The study followed a hermeneutic phenomenological approach.
Unlabelled: Experimental studies have demonstrated that nutritional changes during development can result in phenotypic changes to mammalian cheek teeth. This developmental plasticity of tooth morphology is an example of phenotypic plasticity. Because tooth development occurs through complex interactions between manifold processes, there are many potential mechanisms which can contribute to a tooth's norm of reaction.

Chronic preventable diseases, such as overweight and obesity, along with musculoskeletal injuries, are threats to recruitment and retention. Novel approaches are needed and leaders are in a unique position to serve a key role in influencing nutrition readiness.
