Proteins are biomolecules with potential applications in agriculture, food sciences, pharmaceutics, biotechnology, and drug delivery. Interactions of hydrophilic and biocompatible polymers with proteins may impart proteolytic stability, improving the therapeutic effects of biomolecules and also acting as excipients for the prolonged storage of proteins under harsh conditions. The interactions of hydrophilic and stealth polymers such as poly(ethylene glycol), poly(trehalose), and zwitterionic polymers with various proteins are well studied.

Background And Aim: The poultry farming development is held back by necessity to use the concentrates with the increased number of crude protein, mycotoxicoses, and subclinical infections concentration. They make a significant impact on the liver, therefore affecting its morphofunctional condition. Antioxidants use can prevent the negative influence of these factors.

This study was aimed at revealing clinical and laboratory peculiarities in the health of married couples suffering of pregnancy miscarriage and the possibility of correcting this state by preconception therapy with reamberin, based on analysis of the results of observations and investigations for 196 married couples. At the first stage, we have studied the influence of provoking factors on the miscarriage during first trimester, including the presence and degree of chronic nonspe- cific intoxication. The patients were divided into groups: first (main) group including 40 couples, in which the pregnancy was complicated by the risk of pre- gnancy termination in the first trimester and second (comparison) group of 74 couples, in which abortion in the first trimester was followed by complex precon- ception therapy.

In subchronic intoxication via repeated intraperitoneal injection of copper oxide nanoparticles (diameter 20 nm, 19 times in dose of 10 mg/kg of rats, 3 times per week), findings are that oral intake of bioprotectors complex (pectine, polyvitamin and polymineral preparation, sodium glutaminate, glycine, acetylcysteine and fish oil preparation with high content of unsaturated fatty acids of omega-3 group) decreases copper accumulation in viscera (including statistically significantly in spleen) and slows development of pathologic changes in liver, brain and kidneys. With that, genotoxic effect of nanocopper also decreases--according to lower fragmentation of genome DNA in liver and spleen cells.

Background: Workers employed on mining, processing and storage of monazite are at risk of exposure to dust with expected adverse health effects.

Objectives: To study the adverse health effects of monazite particles in experiments on rats and to test the possibility of attenuating these effects.

Methods: Outbred white rats were injected intratracheally with a suspension of ground monazite concentrate (MC) in order to investigate the cellular response of the lower airways 24 hours later and the organism's status 6 months after the injection.
