A rare case of an incidental nonfunctioning mediastinal paraganglioma is presented. The diagnosis of aorticosympathetic paraganglioma was established by histological examination after surgical removal of the tumor. The appearance of this rare tumor on multidetector coronary angiography is demonstrated and the differential diagnosis is discussed.

Introduction: Advances in imaging methods have led to an increasingly frequent diagnosis of adrenal gland lesions as incidental findings. Despite progress in this field, there is still limited information regarding the epidemiology of the clinical and metabolic profile of patients with adrenal incidentaloma (AI). The objective is analyze the epidemiology of adrenal tumors at Gaffrée e Guinle University Hospital (HUGG) and compare it with data from the literature.

We present the case of a 48-year-old woman with intermittent left flank pain and an incidental finding of an adrenal tumor on computed tomography. The patient underwent laparoscopic tumor resection due to the large size of the tumor.

Pulmonary sequestration is a rare congenital condition wherein a nonfunctional lung segment, arising separately from the true lung bud, develops within the chest cavity but lacks communication with the tracheobronchial tree or pulmonary arterial supply. While this condition is typically diagnosed in children, our case highlights its relevance in adults. We present a 37-year-old male who presented with shortness of breath and was initially diagnosed with a pulmonary abscess.

Mediastinal paragangliomas, though rare, present significant surgical challenges due to their proximity to critical vascular structures within the mediastinum. This case report discusses the management of a patient with an incidentally discovered non-functional mediastinal paraganglioma. The tumor's location necessitated meticulous preoperative planning and intraoperative navigation to prevent vascular injury.

TSH-secreting pituitary adenoma (TSHoma) is the rarest functioning pituitary tumor, with an increasing incidence over the last decades. Diagnosis is often delayed, exposing patients to a high risk of developing chronic complications of long-standing hyperthyroidism. Although thyroid hormone excess is a recognized cause of secondary osteoporosis, very few studies have investigated skeletal damage in patients with TSHoma, with data limited to bone turnover markers (BTM) and a study on the prevalence of radiological vertebral fractures (VFs) incidentally detected on chest X-ray, whereas data on bone mineral density (BMD) are anecdotal.
