The primary objective of this tip is to assist foot and ankle surgeons in performing a precise 60 degrees lengthening Z-plasty in the operating room without the use of a template or protractor. A ruler and basic trigonometric principles are applied to the line of contracture to obtain consistent and reliable results.

Purpose: Precise tumor excision is important in breast-conserving surgery (BCS). This study explores the safety and accuracy of fluorescence image-guided BCS (FIGS) using a lidocaine mucilage-ICG compound (L-ICG).
Methods: 54 patients who underwent BCS from August 2020 to September 2023 were enrolled.

Background: Intraoperative imaging is critical for achieving precise cancer resection. Among available techniques, Raman spectral imaging emerges as a promising modality due to its high spatial resolution and signal stability. However, its clinical application for in vivo imaging is limited by the inherently weak Raman scattering signal.

Objective: This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the value of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging in precision resection surgery for primary and metastatic liver cancer.
Methods: A systematic search of PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and major scientific websites was conducted until June 2024. Randomized controlled trials and observational studies comparing indocyanine green fluorescence imaging-guided liver cancer resection with traditional methods were included.
