Recently Tauler's mcrbands Matlab script and Maeder's grid method were used by Abdollahi et al. to calculate the elements of transformation matrix for obtaining feasible band boundaries in multivariate curve resolution of a two-component system. Neither method is analytical, instead they are iterative. For long time it is well-known that Lawton and Sylvestre's approach can provide the feasible band boundaries analytically and non-iteratively. In this paper, firstly in the literature, the clear relationship is given between Lawton and Sylvestre's approach and Tauler's approach (as well as Maeder's approach). It was found that all approaches are identical for noiseless or moderately noisy two-component systems and, it was illustrated by figures and tables provided in Supplementary Material.

This article presents a fabrication strategy on the structural design, optimization, additive manufacturing, and processing of metal mirror. Specifically, the study showcases the topology design of a metal mirror with diameter of 200 mm, the additive manufacturing of standard aluminum-based powder (AlSi10Mg), the high-precision single-point diamond turning process of the surface. By setting the feasible domain partition, a topology optimization model suitable for metal additive manufacturing and subsequent surface shaping was constructed, which takes into account the multi-load machining load conditions of single-point diamond turning technology and the material topology representation of standard support structures for additive manufacturing.

Boasting superior flexibility in beam manipulation and a simpler framework than traditional phased arrays, terahertz metasurface-based phased arrays show great promise for 5G-A/6G communication networks. Compared with the reflective reconfigurable intelligent surface (reflective RIS), the transmissive RIS (TRIS) offers more feasibility for transceiver multiplexing systems to meet the growing demand for high-performance beam tracking in terahertz communication and radar systems. However, the terahertz TRIS encounters greater challenges in phase shift, beam efficiency, and complex circuitry.

Single-atom catalysts (SACs) with nonplanar configurations possess unique capabilities for tailoring the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalytic performance compared with the ones with planar configurations, owing to the additional orbital rearrangement arising from the asymmetric coordination atoms. However, the systematic investigation of these nonplanar SACs has long been hindered by the difficulty in screening feasible nonplanar configurations and precisely controlling the coordination structures. Herein, we demonstrate a combined high-throughput screening and experimental verification of nonplanar SACs (ppy-MN3) for highly active and selective 2e- ORR electrocatalysis.

They can be continuously monitored through contact or contactless measurements performed in the home or a hospital. In this study, a contactless Doppler radar W-band sensing system was used for short-range, contactless vital sign estimation.

In this Letter, we propose for the first, to our knowledge, time, to mitigate the multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) equalizer-enhanced noise (EEN) in coupled-core multicore fiber (CC-MCF) systems by utilizing the spectral shaping (SS) filter and maximum likelihood sequence detection (MLSD), which have shown effective EEN mitigation in SMF systems. However, CC-MCF systems feature multiple spatial channels, each requiring separate coefficient optimization for SS filters corresponding to each output of MIMO.
