Purpose: Description of an uncommon case of postoperative Candida iris nodules.
Case Report: A 70-year-old immunocompetent patient developed whitish iris nodules after phacoemulsification in the left eye, without any other signs of endophthalmitis. Histophathological examination showed spores of candida. These nodules did not respond to intracameral amphotericin B but disappeared with oral fluconazole. However, the functional outcome was poor because of persistant inflammation of the anterior segment.
Conclusion: In the presence of postoperative iris nodules, fungal etiology must be considered.

Aim: We report a unique finding of iris nodules in a woman with endogenous endophthalmitis due to with no history of ocular surgery or trauma and good visual outcome.
Materials & Methods: Retrospective case report.
Results: A 39-year-old woman with a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus presented with a decrease in vision in the right eye of 1-month duration.
A case of masquerade syndrome caused by metastatic iris tumor diagnosed by a high CEA level in the aqueous humor and iris biopsy.

Here, we report a case of masquerade syndrome with secondary glaucoma in which a high carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) level in the aqueous humor could assist diagnosis, and continuing targeted therapy and trabeculectomy were effective.
