Objective: to explore the strategies used by Jordanian women to manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Design: cross sectional descriptive study.
Setting: the three regions of Jordan.
Participants: 235 women aged 18-54 years who had been pregnant.
Findings: there a number of strategies were used by Jordanian women in the sample for the alleviation of nausea and vomiting of pregnancy, varying from non-pharmacological strategies such as diet and lifestyle changes to the use of complementary alternative medicine and pharmacological treatments.
Implications For Practice: preparing women and their families to manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy effectively is important; midwives should encourage women to seek help from care providers when they need it, and continue to assess nausea and vomiting and management strategies during the first weeks of pregnancy.

We presented patient-reported outcomes in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) brain metastases (BM) who received whole-brain radiotherapy (WBRT) in combination with erlotinib or WBRT alone in the phase 3 ENTER study.
Methods: The patients' HRQoL was assessed by using the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer 30-item Core Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-C30).

Objective: To describe the clinical reasoning and use of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) blood glucose and exercise guidelines in the face of an emerging acute glycemic crisis for a patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus receiving physical therapy for chronic ankle instability and fibromyalgia.
Case Description: Assessment of the patient's baseline blood glucose and ketone urinalysis revealed hyperglycemia and ketonuria, respectively. Shortly after testing, the patient became nauseous and vomited.
