In this paper, we proposed an efficient immunization-"high-risk immunization". The standard SIRS model was modified, respectively, on WS small-world network and BA scale-free network. Based on our new SIRS model, the density of infected individuals was analyzed from a theoretical point of view, and computer simulation was implemented on different networks. The results indicate that the high-risk immunization is effective, and it is economic and feasible in practice.

There are evidence showing that meteorological factors, such as temperature and humidity, have critical effects on transmission of some infectious diseases, while quantifying the influence is challenging. In this study we develop a learning-explaining framework to discover the particular dependence of transmission mechanisms on meteorological factors based on multiple source data. The incidence rate based on the epidemic data and epidemic model is theoretically identified, and meanwhile the practical discovery of particular formula is feasible through deep neural networks (DNN), symbolic regression (SR) and sparse identification of nonlinear dynamics (SINDy).

Background: Sex cord-stromal cell tumors (SCST) are rare tumors of the ovary. Some of the SCSTs secrete hormone originating from the sex or stromal cell of the ovaries. Previous studies have indicated an increased risk of breast and endometrial cancers.

Background: MiR-519d-3p, also called specific placenta biomarkers, is a member of the Chromosome 19 miRNA Cluster (C19MC) with the highest concentrations of miRNAs in human placenta and maternal serum. These miRNAs are secreted by fetal trophoblast cells within extracellular vesicles (EVs) and interact with the mother's immune cells, which has been proposed to be crucial for immunological tolerance at the placental-maternal interface. A key mechanism in preeclampsia, a multifactorial, multipath hypertensive pregnancy illness, is an immunological imbalance between the mother and the fetus.

Background: To assess the value of combined Monocyte Distribution Width (MDW) and Procalcitonin (PCT) detection in diagnosing and predicting neonatal sepsis outcomes.
Methods: This retrospective study, conducted from January 2022 to December 2023.A retrospective analysis of 39 neonatal sepsis and 30 non-infectious systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) cases was conducted.

Sepsis is a leading cause of death worldwide, with most patient mortality stemming from lingering immunosuppression in sepsis survivors. This is due in part to immune dysfunction resulting from monocyte exhaustion, a phenotype of reduced antigen presentation, altered CD14/CD16 inflammatory subtypes, and disrupted cytokine production. Whereas previous research demonstrated improved sepsis survival in Ticam2 mice, the contribution of TICAM2 to long-term exhaustion memory remained unknown.
