Objective: To test the effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) from adipose tissue on the dermal filling for nasolabial rhytids correction.
Methods: 50 cc of infraumbilical fat and 20 ml of peripheral blood were harvested to isolate MSC and autologous plasma from 15 female volunteers, respectively. The volunteers were grouped in according to the following strategies of intra-dermal injection: Group (I) only hyaluronic acid; Group (II) only MSC; Group (III) MSC combined with hyaluronic acid. For this qualitative and prospective study photographic monitoring was done monthly.
Results: In the group (I) we observed an immediate effect of filling; in the group (II) the effect of filling was reached after approximately two months. In the group (III) filling occurred more efficiently and progressively, probably due to the combination of the short and long-term effects generated by the hyaluronic acid and MSC, respectively.
Conclusion: MSC when combined with hyaluronic acid were able to fill in deep folds, with progressive improvement of skin tone and decreasing lines of expression.

Background: Microfragmented adipose tissue has been proposed for intra-articular treatment of knee osteoarthritis. There are little data comparing the outcomes of treatment between microfragmented adipose tissue and other biological treatments.
Purpose: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing microfragmented aspirated fat injections to other orthobiologics, hyaluronic acid, and corticosteroid injections for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) injection, traditionally used for non-surgical rhinoplasty, is often associated with adverse effects such as increased nasal dorsum width. This study introduces the linear stereoscopic stack volume enhancement (LSSVE) injection technique as a solution for patients with low-profile noses, aiming to improve the nasal dorsum dimension, prevent long-term nasal widening, and address related concerns. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical registry data of patients treated at Shanghai Phiskin Clinic from December 2020 to June 2024, who received HA injections using the LSSVE technique.

Purpose: Soft-tissue filler injections, particularly hyaluronic acid, are popular for temple volume restoration. Although uncommon, this area poses risk for vision loss from embolic occlusion. Guidelines recommend injecting into the supraperiosteal plane for safety; however, the deep temporal arteries (DTAs) in this plane pose a risk.

Normal human life expectancy has increased; hence, growing interest in the field of skin quality is observed. Peels are common medical devices that stimulate new skin growth and improve texture. Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA)-based products act by replacing fragmented collagen.

Purpose: Postoperative pain is a major concern for patients undergoing ultrasound scalpel-assisted hemorrhoidectomy, potentially exacerbated by delayed wound healing. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of an intimate cleansing gel containing chlorhexidine, hyaluronic acid, and other anti-inflammatory agents (Antroclean Fisioderm) on postoperative pain, itching, and wound healing in patients who had undergone this procedure.
Methods: This multicenter observational case-control study involved a cohort of consecutive adult patients who underwent hemorrhoidectomy using an ultrasound device.
