Objectives: To characterize the serum cytokine profile in myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) at onset and during follow-up and assess their utility for predicting relapses and disability.

Methods: This retrospective multicentric cohort study included patients aged 16 years and older meeting MOGAD 2023 criteria, with serum samples collected at baseline (≤3 months from disease onset) and follow-up (≥6 months from the baseline), and age-matched and time to sampling-matched patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Eleven cytokines were assessed using the ELLA system.

Objective: There is no evidence to suggest that an association exists between the remnant cholesterol (RC) to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ratio and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). In this study, the RC/HDL-C ratio during the first trimester was examined as a potential indicator of the onset of GDM during the second trimester.

Methods: This was a secondary analysis of data from a Korea-based prospective cohort study.

College of Pharmacy, Changsha Medical University, No. 1501 Leifeng Avenue, Xiangjiang New District, Changsha, Hunan, 410219, China.

The understanding of pembrolizumab-induced Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) /toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) primarily derives from case reports, leaving specific clinical features largely unknown. This study aims to investigate the clinical characteristics associated with pembrolizumab-induced SJS/TEN and to encourage the judicious use of pembrolizumab. Retrieve reports on pembrolizumab induced SJS/TEN before September 30, 2024 for retrospective analysis.

Background: Senescence is a cellular response to stress or damage leading to a state of irreversible growth arrest. As we age, the number of senescent cells increases and directly contributes to age-related conditions including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. As a result, there is a growing interest to therapeutically target senescence either with drugs eliminating senescent cells (senolytics) or with strategies to modulate their secretory phenotype among others.
