Solitary fibrous tumors of the liver are uncommon. First reported in the pleura, this tumor has also been reported in other locations both within and outside the thorax. It rarely affects the liver parenchyma. The clinical, radiological, and immunohistochemical findings characterize the lesion and distinguish it from other tumors with a similar appearance. We present the case of a solitary fibrous tumor in the liver; we place special emphasis on the findings at ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Finally, we review the literature.
