This review explores the synergistic potential of natural products and nanotechnology for viral infections, highlighting key antiviral, immunomodulatory, and antioxidant properties to combat pandemics caused by highly infectious viruses. These pandemics often result in severe public health crises, particularly affecting vulnerable populations due to respiratory complications and increased mortality rates. A cytokine storm is initiated when an overload of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines is released, leading to a systemic inflammatory response.

Lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1), a key regulator of leukemia stem cell self-renewal, has emerged as a promising epigenetic target for AML treatment. Secondary hair follicles (SHFs) in cashmere goats produce high-value cashmere fibers, which cyclic regulation is critical for optimizing cashmere yield and quality. This study explores the phenotypic changes and differential protein expression profiles involved in the telogen-to-anagen transition of SHFs. Through histological observations, proteomic analyses, and immunohistochemical validation, we identified key molecular features and regulatory pathways underlying SHF cyclic renewal.
