Retiform haemangioendothelioma is a locally aggressive, very rarely metastasizing vascular lesion. Histologically, it is characterized by distinctive arborizing blood vessels resembling "rete testis" and lined by endothelial cells with characteristic hobnail morphology. We present an additional case, in the leg of a 64-year-old patient. We discuss the classification of hemangioendotheliomas. The term hemangioendothelioma should be restricted to vascular tumours of "intermediate malignancy" but has been used to designate tumours with variable histological features and clinical behaviour. Spindle cell hemangio(endothelio)ma is currently regarded as a benign reactive lesion. Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma is potentially lethal due to consumption coagulopathy but no metastasizing case has been reported. Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is associated with a significant metastatic risk and has been included in the category of malignant vascular tumors. The vascular lesions fulfilling the strict definition of hemangioendothelioma include retiform hemangioendothelioma, papillary intralymphatic angioendothelioma "Dabska's tumor", composite hemangioendothelioma and perhaps the controversial polymorphic hemangioendothelioma.

Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is a low-grade malignant tumor of vascular origin. The rarity of hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEHE) makes the diagnosis and treatment of this entity challenging. We report a case of a 69-year-old female patient who suffered from HEHE and complained of abdominal distension pain with dizziness and appetite loss for more than half a month.

Background: Lung transplantation is a viable lifesaving option for patients with diffuse pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). We present a case of diffuse pulmonary AVMs associated with juvenile polyposis and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (JP-HHT) that was successfully managed by lung transplantation.
Case Presentation: A 19-year-old woman developed severe hypoxemia due to pulmonary AVMs diagnosed at 4 years of age.

Ultrasound (US) is a widely used technique for liver disease but has limitations in distinguishing tumors. This study evaluates the clinical efficacy of fluctuational imaging (FLI), a new US method that detects the fluttering sign in liver tumors. We conducted a prospective exploratory study with 120 participants diagnosed with liver tumors through histopathology or standard imaging.

Various space occupying lesions can arise in the orbit, ranging from developmental anomalies to malignancies, and many of the diseases occurring in children are different from the pathologies in the adult population. As the clinical presentation is frequently nonspecific, radiologic evaluation is essential for lesion detection and characterization as well as patient management. While orbital masses may in some cases involve multiple compartments, a simple compartmental approach is the key for the diagnosis on imaging studies, and MRI is the modality of choice.

Background: Houge-Janssens syndrome 1 is a condition with onset in early childhood caused by heterozygous pathogenic variants in the gene, which encodes a B56 regulatory subunit of the serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). There is evidence that the PP2A-PPP2R5D complex is involved in regulating the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/AKT signalling pathway, which is crucial for several cellular processes, including the pathogenesis and progression of haemangiomas.
Case Presentation: We report the first -related neurodevelopmental disorder case from Sardinia, a child with transient hypoglycaemia, facial dysmorphisms, and multiple haemangiomas.
