Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease characterized by the progressive development of multiple adenomatous polyps along the colon. The majority of individuals develop colorectal cancer by the age of 40 within the evolutionary course of the disease. For this reason, screening family members is essential to enable identification, surveillance, and appropriate intervention.

Background: McKittrick-Wheelock syndrome is an uncommon and severe disorder caused by large hypersecretory tumors located in the distal colorectal area. Excessive secretion from adenomas is an unusual clinical manifestation that leads to severe electrolyte and fluid depletion, subsequently resulting in kidney injury. Successful treatment relies on quick and cooperative decision-making for timely intervention.

Background: The study aims to investigate the application of surgical vaginoscopy via a no-touch hysteroscopic approach for the management of female genital polyps. The primary objective is to assess the feasibility of this technique in treating intrauterine pathologies in both pregnant and non-pregnant women.
Methods: A total of forty-six patients diagnosed with genital polyps underwent operative vaginoscopy at a university-affiliated hospital between April 1, 2017 and May 31, 2023.

Heterotopia or ectopic tissue refers to the presence of normal tissue in an abnormal location, away from its typical anatomic site. While heterotopia is not uncommon, its occurrence in the gallbladder is quite rare, and even more unusual is the presence of gastric heterotopia within the gallbladder. This case report describes a 41-year-old female patient with oxyntic-type heterotopic gastric mucosa in the proximal body of the gallbladder.
