Background: Early and timely detection of pulmonary nodules and initiation treatment can substantially improve the survival rate of lung carcinoma. However, current detection methods based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) cannot easily detect pulmonary nodules owing to low detection accuracy and the difficulty in detecting small-sized pulmonary nodules; meanwhile, more accurate CNN-based models are slow and require high hardware specifications.
Objective: The aim of this study is to develop a detection model that achieves both high accuracy and real-time performance, ensuring effective and timely results.

Since their discovery, titanium-based MXenes (TiCT) have attracted significant attention. Several studies have presented versatile, cost-effective, and scalable approaches for fabricating TiCT-based functional components. However, most previous studies only allowed the realization of 2D patterns or required diverse additives to produce 3D architectures.

Fatigue, a complex and multifaceted symptom, profoundly influences quality of life, particularly among individuals suffering from chronic medical conditions or neurological disorders. This symptom not only exacerbates existing conditions but also hinders daily functioning, thereby perpetuating a vicious cycle of worsening symptoms and reduced physical activity. Given the pivotal role of the motor cortex (M1) in coordinating and executing voluntary movements, understanding how the cortex regulates fatigue is crucial.

Anatomical Landmark detection in CT-Scan images is widely used in the identification of skeletal disorders. However, the traditional process of manually detecting anatomical landmarks, especially in three dimensions, is both time-consuming and prone to human errors. We propose a novel, deep-learning-based approach to automatic detection of 3D landmarks in CT images of the lower limb.
