Background: In the UK's National Health Service (NHS), there is specific psychosocial care offered to people with genetic cancer risk conditions but not morphological cancer risk conditions. As researchers develop new ways to diagnose morphological risk conditions, including precancers and in situ cancers, it is important to consider the psychosocial care that those diagnosed might require.
Objectives: This study compares the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence's guidelines for BRCA1/2, which are genetic risk conditions, and Barrett's oesophagus (BO), a morphological risk condition.

The paper explores Google Maps' COVID-19 layer, a special feature launched by the cartographic platform in September 2020, and shut down two years later. Through the reading of promotional corporate blogposts and interfacial analysis of the layer, it critiques the layers' mediation of the pandemic, caught between public health needs and Google's overarching ethos. The analysis underscores three central claims: that interfacial choices endemic to the layer impose certainty and reduce necessary user hesitancy; promote data commodification regardless of its pandemic need; and stake unnecessary exceptionalism to the pandemic-spcecific information rather than integrating it into the maps' existing hybridity.

Background: Low rates of anticipatory guidance (AG) are reported across studies with adolescents, and little is known about how these conversations differ across early versus middle adolescence. This study explored adolescent-provider AG conversations for preventive health skills; the study objectives were to (1) identify patterns of provider-adolescent AG conversations across early and middle adolescence and (2) determine socio-demographic characteristics associated with these AG conversations.
Design And Method: Data from the 2019 National Survey of Children's Health were used to identify patterns of provider-adolescent AG conversations.
