Purpose: We sought to evaluate the incidence, natural history, and management of cystic spinal lesions following myelomeningocele/myeloschisis closure.
Methods: We performed a single-center retrospective review of all patients who underwent myelomeningocele/myeloschisis closure from 2013 to 2018 with follow-up to 5 years old.
Results: We analyzed 100 fetal repairs and 81 postnatal closures from 305 total surgeries.

Purpose Of Review: Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a disabling spinal pathology, with a significant morbidity if left untreated. This review investigates the recent advances in the diagnosis and management of AIS.
Recent Findings: Low radiation techniques have become a paramount focus in the management of patient's with AIS.

Delivering protein drugs to the central nervous system (CNS) is challenging due to the blood-brain and blood-spinal cord barrier. Here we show that neutrophils, which naturally migrate through these barriers to inflamed CNS sites and release neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), can be leveraged for therapeutic delivery. Tannic acid nanoparticles tethered with anti-Ly6G antibody and interferon-β (aLy6G-IFNβ@TLP) are constructed for targeted neutrophil delivery.

Background: Post-laminectomy syndrome (PLS) manifests as recurrent chronic back pain, with or without radiating leg pain, affecting 10-40% of patients following laminectomy. While surgical interventions can alleviate recurrent disc herniation or joint instability, medical management of PLS remains challenging due to unsatisfactory outcomes. Epidural fibrosis is a frequent cause of PLS, leading to nerve root tethering and dural sac compression.

Study Design: Single-center retrospective cohort study.
Objective: To compare the correction of fractional curve and L5 tilt in 2RVBT versus PSF with LIV in the lumbar spine.
Summary Of Background Data: Vertebral body tethering, an AIS fusion-alternative, avoids rigid constructs, allowing for lower instrumented vertebra (LIV) selection.
