Purpose Of Review: Neuroanesthesia presents unique challenges that require up-to-date knowledge in identification and management and multidisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient outcomes. This review paper aims to enhance the reader's understanding and preparedness for intraoperative emergencies based on current literature updates and consensus recommendations.
Recent Findings: Recent findings in traumatic brain injury (TBI) emphasize the importance of controlling intracranial pressure (ICP) and maintaining cerebral perfusion.

Objectives: Marginal donor kidneys are increasingly used for transplantation to overcome organ shortage. This study aims to investigate the additional value of Power Doppler (PD) imaging in kidney quality assessment during normothermic machine perfusion (NMP).
Methods: Porcine kidneys (n = 22) retrieved from a local slaughterhouse underwent 2 h of NMP.

Background: Ovarian or adnexal torsions occur when an ovary rotates around one of the supporting ligaments, often the infundibulopelvic (IP) ligament. This rotation can cause the blood flow to the ovary to be hindered, and this decrease in perfusion can often present as adnexal pain, nausea, and vomiting. A significant risk factor for developing an ovarian torsion is the presence of an ovarian mass, such as a cyst.

Background And Objectives: It is unknown whether acute CT perfusion (CTP) core imaging may underestimate the follow-up infarct. We hypothesize that infarct underestimation occurs especially in late-presenting patients and that underestimated infarct can partially be detected on baseline noncontrast CT (NCCT).
Methods: We included patients with acute anterior circulation ischemic stroke who underwent baseline NCCT and CTP imaging, complete endovascular reperfusion, and follow-up MRI from the Endovascular Therapy Following Imaging Evaluation for Ischemic Stroke (DEFUSE 3) trial and a consecutive, monocenter cohort.

A quinquagenarian underwent zone 2 arch repair for acute type A dissection followed by endovascular repair utilizing a branch endoprosthesis and covered stents. He developed a fever and positive blood culture results 3 weeks after the thoracic endovascular repair. A preoperative left carotid to subclavian artery bypass was performed.
