Histological and immunohistochemical studies were conducted using herniated intervertebral disc materials obtained surgically from 39 miniature dachshunds. Infiltration of inflammatory cells, such as macrophages, neutrophils, T or B lymphocytes, and multinucleated giant cells, were identified in intervertebral disc materials in 23 cases. Furthermore, proliferations of connective tissue, including neovascularization, were also observed in 17 cases. These results suggest that spontaneous regression of herniated intervertebral disc material could occur in affected dogs.

Introduction: Ingestion of foreign bodies is a significant problem among children, which necessitates early intervention and may lead to serious morbidity and even mortality.
Aim: To estimate the pattern of foreign body ingestion among children and identify the role of management and its outcomes in relation to the type and site of foreign bodies.
Material And Methods: Our study was carried out on patients who attended the Emergency Department of the Rapareen Teaching Hospital for Paediatrics in Erbil city and were referred to the Paediatric Gastroenterology Unit during between March 2019 and January 2023.

Tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) is currently administered orally to patients for treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection and as a part of a combination therapy for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. A long-acting delivery system could provide several advantages as a formulation strategy for this drug including improved patient adherence, convenience, more consistent drug levels and potentially fewer side effects. To date, the vast majority of polymer-based long-acting delivery systems have been prepared from poly(lactide--glycolide) [1].

Aim: This study evaluated the color stability and surface roughness of two universal-shade compared to two nanohybrid composites after staining and external bleaching with 40% hydrogen peroxide.
Methods: Two universal shade resin-based composites and two nanohybrid composites were tested. Twenty disc-shaped specimens from each material were fabricated and divided into two subgroups: one group was stained and bleached (staining group) and the other received bleaching treatment only (control group).

Measuring the radioactivity of organically bound tritium in environmental samples is difficult. For the past twenty years, many laboratories have been working on the development of reliable tritium measurement methods. In this context, several interlaboratory comparisons have been organised to develop these methods and enable laboratories to compare themselves.
