Objectives: The aim of the research was to estimate the influence of birth weight discordance on birth status of twins.
Material And Methods: Material of the research consisted of 560 foetuses derived from successful twin pregnancies. In the analysis the following factors were taken into consideration: birth status, gasometry, and birth weight discordance.
Results: The degree of birth weight discordance under 10% was noted in 50% of twin pregnancies (n = 140), discordance of 10%-20% was observed in 30.7% (n = 86), and > 20% - in 19.3% (n = 54).
Conclusions: Birth weight discordance is an important risk factor for fetal and neonatal morbidity which is higher in smaller twins than in larger ones. Along with the degree of birth weight discordance, an increased risk of neonatal complications was observed.

Extensive congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) of the left fetal lung and associated marked dextroposition of the fetal heart were noted at 21 weeks' gestation. The right fetal lung appeared compressed with the cardiomediastinal shift angle measuring approximately 20 degrees. Potential subsequent right pulmonary hypoplasia was considered.

Objective: This study examined the potential link between maternal pre-pregnancy body mass index (PPBMI) with neonatal outcomes in twin pregnancies.
Methods: This retrospective analysis records of 1,270 women with twin pregnancies, delivered at the Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital between 2019 and 2021, were retrospectively analysed. Women were diagnosed as underweight, normal BMI, and overweight/obese according to their PPBMI.

Objective: This retrospective cohort study aimed to investigate the effects of parity on gestational weight gain (GWG) and its association with maternal and neonatal outcomes in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Methods: This retrospective cohort study data from 2,909 pregnant women with GDM who delivered between 2021 and 2023 at Fujian Maternity and Child Health hospital, were analyzed. Participants were categorized into nulliparous (no previous births), primiparous (one previous birth), and multiparous (two or more previous births) groups.

The attachment relationship constitutes the first emotionally significant affective bond, usually between the infant and the mother, serving as a model for subsequent relationships. It is considered a vital component of social and emotional development in the early years and an important early indicator of infant mental health. In twins, the attachment process may exhibit unique characteristics, influenced by the dual parenting dynamic and the individual needs of each baby.
