Introduction: Distant recurrences are a major problem after surgical treatment for endometrial carcinoma; metastases to the bone are usually restricted to the axial skeleton, cases of costal localization are few. We present a case of a massive costal metastases successfully treated in our department.
Case Presentation: A 60-year-old woman underwent bilateral hysteroannessectomy followed by adjuvant radiotherapy for endometrial adenocarcinoma pT3a FIGO IIIA.

Understanding how symmetry-breaking processes generate order out of disorder is among the most fundamental problems of nature. The scalar Higgs mode - a massive (quasi-) particle - is a key ingredient in these processes and emerges with the spontaneous breaking of a continuous symmetry. Its related exotic and elusive axial counterpart, a Boson with vector character, can be stabilized through the simultaneous breaking of multiple continuous symmetries.

A 33-year-old male patient developed distal femur chronic osteomyelitis with massive bone loss after an open grade-3b fracture. Following several failed treatments to eradicate infection, a tibial turn-up procedure was performed to provide a stable and functional stump. To avoid neurovascular problems, the popliteal vessels and sciatic nerve were moved medially, and the flap was rotated externally to decrease the collapse.

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the spine and sacroiliac joints. Early detection of axSpA is crucial to slow disease progression and maintain remission or low disease activity. However, current biomarkers are insufficient for diagnosing axSpA or distinguishing between its radiographic (r-axSpA) and non-radiographic (nr-axSpA) subsets.
