In the development of ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) methods, appropriate test beds are needed to facilitate algorithmic performance calibration. Here, we present the design of a new ULM-compatible microvascular phantom with a forked, V-shaped wall-less flow channel pair ( 250 μ m channel width) that is bifurcated at a separation rate of 50 μ m/mm. The lumen core was fabricated using additive manufacturing, and it was molded within a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) tissue-mimicking slab using the lost-core casting method.

Herein, a strategy to stamp laser-produced reduced graphene oxide (rGO) onto flexible polymers using only office-grade tools, namely, roll-to-roll thermal stamping, is proposed, proving for the first time its effectiveness for direct bioelectrocatalysis. This straightforward, scalable, and low-cost approach allows us to overcome the limits of the integration of laser-induced rGO-films in bioanalytical devices. Laser-produced rGO has been thermally stamped (TS) onto different polymeric substrates (PET, PVC, and EVA) using a simple roll-laminator; the obtained TS-rGO films have been compared with the native rGO (untransferred) via morphochemical and electrochemical characterization.

Fluorescence analysis has attracted much attention due to its rapidity and sensitivity. The present work describes a novel fluorescence detection method for acid phosphatase (ACP) on the basis of inner-filter effect (IFE), where MnO nanosheets (MnO NSs) and vitamin B (VB) are served as absorbers and fluorophores, respectively. In the absence of ACP, the absorption band of MnO NSs overlaps well with the excitation band of VB, resulting in effective IFE and inhibition of VB fluorescence.

Two-dimensional magnetic materials have demonstrated favorable properties (, large spin polarization and net magnetization) for the development of next-generation spintronic devices. The discovery of such materials and insight into their magnetic coupling mechanism has become a research focus. Here, on the basis of first-principles structural search calculations, we have identified a fresh FeCN monolayer consisting of edge-sharing Fe triangle sublattices and FeCN rings, which integrates antiferromagnetism, semiconductivity, and planarity.

Osteomyelitis is caused by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), with associated progressive bone loss. This study developed for the first time a calcium phosphate cement (CPC) for delivery of doxycycline (DOX) and human platelet lysate (hPL) to fight against S.
