Constructing highly efficient catalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants driven by solar light in aquatic environments is a promising and green strategy. In this study, a novel hexagonal sheet-like Pt/SnS heterojunction photocatalyst is successfully designed and fabricated using a hydrothermal method and photodeposition process for photocatalytic tetracycline (TC) degradation. The optimal Pt/SnS hybrid behaves with excellent photocatalytic performance, with a degradation efficiency of 91.

This study represents a novel surface plasmon coupling electrochemiluminescence (SPC-ECL) method for detecting salivary exosomes and the diagnosis of childhood asthma. First, SnS QDs@MXene Ohmic junctions was developed as efficient ECL emitters. The Ohmic junction provided a low resistance to reduce the contact resistance and improve charge injection efficiency, which enhanced the ECL signal by 2.

Silver nanoparticles have gained significant attention recently due to their unique antibacterial properties, making them promising candidates for wound care applications. This study proposes a novel approach for advanced wound care using a silver nanoparticle-impregnated biogenic spray hydrogel supplemented with collagen and chitosan. Silver nanoparticles were incorporated into the hydrogel (optimized by a QbD approach) to impart antimicrobial activity, crucial for combating wound infections and promoting faster healing.
