Background: Directly observed therapy (DOT) is the standard for monitoring adherence for tuberculosis (TB) treatment. However, the implementation of DOT is difficult for patients and providers due to a lack of financial and human resources. Mounting evidence suggests that emerging digital adherence technologies like video directly observed therapy (VDOT) can serve as an option.

The early populations that inhabited the Antilles were traditionally understood as highly mobile groups of hunters/fishers and gatherers. Although more recent data have demonstrated that some populations engaged in the production of domestic plants and cultivars, questions remain about other aspects of their lifeways, including whether the adoption of domesticates was accompanied by a decrease in residential mobility. The level of sedentism in a population is an instrumental variable to understand community social relations and complexity, adaptations, and lifeways.

There is increasing awareness that marine invertebrates such as abalones are at risk from the combined stressors of fishing and climate change. Abalones are an important marine fishery resource and of cultural importance to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. A highly priced marine delicacy, they are inherently vulnerable: individuals are slow-growing and long-lived and successful reproduction requires dense assemblages.

Telehealth emerged as a key option for the provision of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care and promotion during COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. However, there is limited research on the perspectives and experiences of healthcare providers (HCPs) in the Western-Central region of New York State. This qualitative interpretive study explored the perspectives and experiences of the HCPs' with telehealth for SRH promotion and care including counselling, testing and treatment for HIV infection and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in Western New York State.
