The aim of this paper is to identify barriers to quality mental health nurse education in the United Kingdom and show these through the sharing of personal experiences of working as a mental health nurse academic. Since the Nursing and Midwifery Council introduced their 'future nurse' education standards in 2018, mental health content for mental health nurses has been argued to have been marginalised. The sense of a diluted mental health nurse education was supported by an open letter, signed by over 100 mental health nurses, with representation across 33 universities.

This article focuses on the medical activities conducted by major hospitals in downtown Seoul during the April Revolution in 1960, examining their experiential context and significance. The influx of guns and bullets into Korean society following the liberation in 1945 intertwined with the political and social conflicts of the period, resulting in numerous assassinations, crimes, and terrorism. Gunshot wounds were traumas that became a part of the everyday life of Koreans, as well as scars which reflected their historical contexts.

Antiracist pedagogy was incorporated into an undergraduate introductory nursing course using National League for Nursing diversity and inclusion initiatives and academic nurse educator competencies as a framework. This article describes the reflective process and steps taken to select Taylor's memoir, Reminiscences of My Life in Camp, as a required text for an introductory nursing course. By incorporating antiracism into an introductory nursing course, educators can assist novice nursing students from diverse groups to envision themselves as nurses, role model allyship for White students, and create a more inclusive teaching environment.
