Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy is a novel immunotherapy for the treatment of refractory malignancies. While various complications have been described previously, sclerosing cholangitis has not been reported. We report the first description of sclerosing cholangitis secondary to Tecartus CAR-T therapy in a 67-year-old man with refractory stage IV mantle cell lymphoma.

We present a rare case of a patient with co-occurring exercise-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) and rhabdomyolysis. A 67-year-old man was referred to our department with AKI. Five days before referral, the patient had sudden-onset loin pain while banging and kicking on a door in a holding cell at a police station.

We describe a case of a 67-year-old man with bioprosthetic aortic valve endocarditis secondary to , a rare Gram-negative plant pathogen. The initial source was assumed to be due to soil exposure. The patient was successfully managed with ceftriaxone following aortic valve replacement.

Vitamin K is essential to produce functional vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors (prothrombin, factors VII, IX, and X). Vitamin K antagonists inhibit the normal activation of these factors, leading to bleeding manifestations of variable severity. Long-acting vitamin K antagonists or superwarfarins were developed as rodenticides and have a significantly longer half-life and greater potency when compared to warfarin.
