In allergology, clinical registries fill knowledge gaps of epidemiology, mechanisms of allergic diseases, and real-world treatment outcomes. Considering the continuous rise of allergic diseases worldwide, registries become increasingly important for the optimization and harmonization of patient care. In the current review, we present four ongoing allergy-focused registries initiated in Germany.

As the ozone (O) pollution becomes severe in China, it poses a threat to human health. Currently, studies on the impacts of O on different regions and groups are limited. This review systematically summarizes the relationship between O pollution and mortality and morbidity across the nation, regions, and cities in China, with a focus on the regional and group-specific studies.

Furthermore, we investigated the influence of medical conditions and individual traits on the efficacy of motivational interviewing for smoking cessation.
Methods: This prospective study was conducted with smokers who presented at the pulmonology and cardiology outpatient clinic.

Objective: This study focuses on investigating the prevalence of various airborne pollens and their correlation with clinical characteristics of childhood respiratory allergic diseases in southeastern China.
Methods: From November 2020 to October 2021, this research employed Durham monitoring samplers to collect airborne pollen.

Background: Confounding reports of cardiovascular disease (CVD) with the use of Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS), long-acting beta-agonists, and muscarinic antagonists (LABA and LAMA) have been reported.
Objective: To explore the relationship between the purchase of ICS, LABA and LAMA inhalers and the incidence of CVDs.
Methods: This retrospective study included patients with COPD and/or asthma, aged ≥ 18 years, who purchased LABA, LAMA, and ICS inhalers alone or in combination between 2017 and 2019.
