Background: In the world of academia, traditional lecturing has been the most common pedagogical approach for centuries. However, it can create an environment for students to be passive learners in the classroom. Alternatively, active learning is a pedagogical approach intended to encourage students to engage with content in manners which have been associated with improved exam performance, final course grades, clinical reasoning skills, and critical thinking skills.

Methods: A scoping review following Arksey and O'Malley's five stages was undertaken using PubMed, OTseeker, Scopus, Elsevier, Cochrane Library-Medline, CINAHL, PsychInfo, Web of Science and Google Scholar.
Results: A total of 41 articles were reviewed.

This study evaluates the feasibility of Apple Vision Pro goggles as an augmented reality (AR) surgical navigation tool for laparoscopic-assisted ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of liver tumors. Traditional RFA is effective but challenging due to the integration of multiple imaging modalities. The primary aim of this research is to assess how Vision Pro goggles can enhance the surgical navigation process during RFA, improving tumor localization and the overall effectiveness of the procedure.
