3D covalent-organic framework (3D COF) membranes have unique features such as smaller pore sizes and more interconnected networks compared with 2D COF counterparts. However, the complicated and unmanageable fabrication hinders their rapid development. Molecular simulation, which can efficiently explore the structure-performance relationship of membranes, holds great promise in accelerating the development of 3D COF membranes.

Background: Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is an autoimmune multisystem disorder characterized by small vessel vasculitis with granulomatous inflammation. In this report, we describe a unique case of GPA who presented with complete heart block (CHB) and developed complications due to intracranial large vessel involvement.
Case Summary: A 47-year-old gentleman presented with CHB with a background history of arthralgia and blood-tinged nasal discharge.

Background: Veno-arterial (V-A) extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is commonly used for patients with cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, or heart failure and is a life-saving technique. Computed tomography angiography (CTA) examination in patients on ECMO presents certain challenges. Due to the dual circulation characteristics of blood flow in ECMO patients, vascular imaging and interpretation can be difficult and may even present pitfalls.

Introduction: IUDs are effective, reversible and safe methods of contraception. The mechanism of action of IUDs as a group is inducing endometrial atrophy, apoptosis, altering tubal motility; preventing sperm permeability, fertilization, and implantation. Complications of IUD include menstrual disturbance, pelvic pain, and increased risk of ectopic pregnancy with contraceptive failure, device expulsion, uterine perforation or transmural migration with misplacement of the device.

Introduction: The spatially complex nature of mesothelioma and interventions like pleurodesis, surgery, and radiation often complicate imaging-based assessment. Further, cell-free DNA (cfDNA) based monitoring strategies are inadequate for mesothelioma, given the presence of a few recurring nonsynonymous somatic variants. However, patient-specific chromosomal rearrangements are commonly found in mesothelioma.
