Multi-pass cavity-enhanced Raman spectroscopy of complex natural gas components.

Anal Chim Acta

January 2025

State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission Equipment Technology (Chongqing University), Chongqing, 400044, China; National Innovation Center for Industry-Education Integration of Energy Storage Technology, China. Electronic address:

Background: The concentration of natural gas components significantly impacts the transportation, storage, and utilization of natural gas. Consequently, implementing online monitoring and leak detection systems is vital to guarantee the efficient use of natural gas and to uphold its safe and stable operation. Raman spectroscopy offers distinctive benefits, including high selectivity, superior precision, and the capability to detect multiple gas components simultaneously using a single-wavelength laser.

Introduction: Clinicians are the conduits of high-quality care delivery. Clinicians have driven advancements in pharmacotherapeutics, devices, and related interventions and improved morbidity and mortality in patients with congestive heart failure over the past decade. Yet, the management of congestive heart failure has become extraordinarily complex and has fueled recommendations from the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology to optimize the composition of the care team to reduce the health, economic, and the health system burden of high lengths of stay and hospital charges.

This paper presents the development of near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probes, and , engineered from hemicyanine dyes with 1,8-naphthalic and rhodamine derivatives for optimized photophysical properties and precise mitochondrial targeting. Probes and exhibit absorption peaks at 737 nm and low fluorescence in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) buffer. Notably, their fluorescence intensities, peaking at 684 () and 702 nm (), increase significantly with viscosity, as demonstrated through glycerol-to-PBS ratio experiments.

The position and configuration of the C═C bond have a significant impact on the spatial conformation of unsaturated lipids, which subsequently affects their biological functions. Double bond isomerization of lipids is an important mechanism of bacterial stress response, but its in-depth mechanistic study still lacks effective analytical tools. Here, we developed a visible-light-activated dual-pathway reaction system that enables simultaneous [2 + 2] cycloaddition and catalytic - isomerization of the C═C bond of unsaturated lipids via directly excited anthraquinone radicals.

Spatially Isomeric Fulleropyrrolidines Enable Controlled Stacking of Perovskite Colloids for High-Performance Tin-Based Perovskite Solar Cells.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

January 2025

Xiamen Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Advanced Manufacturing, Institute of Luminescent Materials and Information Displays, College of Materials Science and Engineering, Huaqiao University, Xiamen, 361021, China.

The advancement of tin-based perovskite solar cells (TPSCs) has been severely hindered by the poor controllability of perovskite crystal growth and the energy level mismatch between the perovskite and fullerene-based electron transport layer (ETL). Here, we synthesized three cis-configured pyridyl-substituted fulleropyrrolidines (PPF), specifically 2-pyridyl (PPF2), 3-pyridyl (PPF3), and 4-pyridyl (PPF4), and utilized them as precursor additives to regulate the crystallization kinetics during film formation. The spatial distance between the two pyridine groups in PPF2, PPF3, and PPF4 increases sequentially, enabling PPF4 to interact with more perovskite colloidal particles.
