Employing CuI nanoparticles as an efficient catalyst for the cross-coupling reactions of various N/O nucleophilic reagents with aryl chlorides could be successfully carried out under mild conditions in the absence of both the ligands and strong bases. A variety of products including N-arylimidazoles and aryl ethers were synthesized in good to excellent yields.

This study explored the use of mango lignocellulosic kernel biochar (MKB) modified with MnFeO magnetic nanoparticles and a Cu@Zn-BDC metal-organic framework (MOF) (MKB/MnFeO/Cu@Zn-BDC MOF) for tetracycline (TC) removal from aqueous solutions and hospital wastewater. The modified biochar exhibited strong magnetic properties (19.803 emu/g) and a specific surface area of 30.

Background: The potential role of Klebsiella pneumoniae (K.pn) in hypertension development has been emphasized, although the specific mechanisms have not been well understood. Bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) released by Gram-negative bacteria modulate host cell functions by delivering bacterial components to host cells.

Background: Glioma accounts for 80 % of all malignant primary brain tumors with a high mortality rate. Histopathological examination is the current diagnostic methods for glioma, but its invasive surgical interventions can cause cerebral edema or impair neural functioning. Liquid biopsy proves to be an efficient method for glioma detection.

The resistance of cancer cells to apoptosis poses a significant challenge in cancer therapy, driving the exploration of alternative cell death pathways such as pyroptosis, known for its rapid and potent effects. While initial efforts focused on chemotherapy-induced pyroptosis, concerns about systemic inflammation highlight the need for precise activation strategies. Photothermal therapy emerges as a promising non-invasive technique, minimizing pyroptosis-related side effects by targeting tumors spatially and temporally.
